In 2024, the Orphaned Starfish Foundation is starting its first program for over 340 Jewish orphans in Bucharest, Romania. These child refugees were forced to flee from their orphanage in Odessa, Ukraine during the War and are now living and studying in Bucharest. OSF will develop a new computer technology center, to replace the center they left, so that these children can again learn technology and prepare for university and employment. This center will take advantage of all OSF programs worldwide. We are hopeful to add funding for a new computer teacher as well.
Every day we help orphans, victims of abuse, survivors of trafficking, indigenous children, at-risk youth, and refugees break their cycles of abuse and poverty. We do this through technology-based education, job training and job placement assistance. Over 90% of our students achieve positive outcomes through our programs.
Join the movement and together we can create positive change.
