Justin work focuses on the complexity of time and the human
perception of it through the simplicity of aging walls as architectural structures representing reality. It is precisely the walls all around us that bring a sense of solace when confronting concepts of time and its infinite effect.

As every surface, from that of the smallest pebble to the largest planet, is a wall, and every wall is a surface subjected to time. Because of this we know time to exist as it is only seen through the direct effects it has on surfaces. Aging walls being the closest connection for us to feel time all around, not as just a physical change but an atmospheric feeling of change. The transported feeling we get when visiting an old city, is the moment we see, feel and become completely aware of times presents.
